Overview
For a Full Moon Party, location is everything, and So Good Haad Rin leaves almost nothing to the taxi. The hostel stands on the sand of Haad Rin Nok, the beach where the party happens, so the walk from your bunk to the dance floor takes about a minute.
It is a dorm-only set-up. Women can book a four-bed female room, and mixed dorms hold eight or ten beds; there is also a room with two king-size beds for people who would rather not climb a ladder. All the sleeping rooms have air-conditioning and use shared bathrooms, and guests have mentioned privacy curtains on the beds in the ten-bed dorm.
Downstairs and up top, the social spaces do the work: a restaurant, a café, a beach bar and a lounge, plus a rooftop terrace that looks over the bay, a small garden and a beach volleyball net.

Location
The hostel's address is 134/1 Moo 6 in Haad Rin, which falls under Baan Tai subdistrict. You are right on Sunrise Beach; listings put the Haad Rin viewpoint around seven minutes away on foot and Haad Rin Nai, the calmer sunset beach on the other side of the village, about a quarter of an hour's walk.
Haad Rin pier, the village's bars and its food stalls are all walkable. For Thong Sala and the rest of the island, songthaews and taxis wait in the village.
