Overview

The Larches is a guest house where every unit is set up for self-catering. Kitchenettes come with an oven, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle and even a dishwasher, and there's a dining area so you can eat in properly rather than perching on the bed.

Floors are parquet, each unit has a flat-screen TV, and the private bathrooms have showers and slippers. Bed linen and towels are supplied. Parking on site is free, as is the Wi-Fi, which makes it a practical choice for contractors, visiting family or anyone staying more than a night or two.

Highlights

  • Kitchenette with oven, microwave and dishwasher
  • Dining area in each unit
  • Free on-site parking
  • Free Wi-Fi
  • Parquet floors and flat-screen TV

Location

The guest house is on Larches Lane, a residential street on the west side of Wolverhampton, about 1.5 km from the city centre. Shops, the Molineux stadium and Wolverhampton railway station are all in the centre.

The old listing promotes Birmingham's arena and conference centre, but the property's own figures put the ICC and the Library of Birmingham about 23 km away, so treat Birmingham as a train ride rather than a walk. Trains from Wolverhampton to Birmingham New Street are frequent. Birmingham Airport is about 39 km away.
